Sadly she died at the young age of 45 from liver disease from alcohol. Great actress who left way too early. I've been watching Lawman and her character Lily owns the Birdcage much like Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke. Great show.

There appears to be a strong correlation between alcohol and female cancers.

In his youth, my bro-in-law roomed with three Playboy bunnies in San Francisco.
He said they were stunningly beautiful... and massively broken.

All were three were lesbians and had heroin addictions.
He attributed it to the endless unwanted attention they received as a consequence of their looks.

I am not at all surprised about these problems plaguing the beautiful female movie stars.

I think the point is that she actually couldn’t hold her own! 45 yrs with  cirrhosis of the liver!! Sad 😔
