 Over or under

On the toilet paper do you hang the roll so that the paper comes off the top or from under and why.

I think we need to start our winter fun early.

Best Wishes

I used to hang it under. My daughter always gave me hell. She insists it is supposed to go over. If she comes to visit she will complain about me having it wrong, and then when she changes the roll she has it over the top.

But I gave up on all of that.

I stand up. I thought everyone did. I was at my mother's one day and I noticed a gray stain on the left side of the toilet seat, and asked about it, and she said that it was from Daddy's watch band, when he wiped. I was shocked. He wiped while he was still sitting down???

But anyway, I stand up. Which means I've always had to bend over to reach the paper that's on the roll down there at seat level.

Now I don't put it on the holder. Depending on whether there is a vanity in the bathroom or just a sink, I either put it on the top of the toilet tank or on the vanity. Since I am standing, this is easily reached.

When my daughter visits the first thing she does is put it on the holder. I finally have her trained, though. She leaves the one I have sitting on the vanity alone, and puts another roll on the holder for her use.

And she puts it over the top.

Under so cats don't unroll it

How about paper towels? If you're worried about your cats getting the paper towels, you need to do something about the cats walking on the kitchen counter.

When it is hanging under, you can tear a sheet off with one hand. If it's hanging over, and you try to tear one off with one hand it unrolls. I hang it under.

It depends on the placement of the holder. Whichever way it's easier to tear off one handed. Sometimes it's over, sometimes it's under.

The people who get all dogmatic about it need to thank God that that's the most important thing they have to worry about.

So you stand and your cheeks squeeze together?😮

I put it on the edge of the tub. For those who want it on the roller there’s one there and it’s over.

Under as well but cats have destroyed whole rolls both ways

my mom insisted it be under , my first wife insisted it be over , my second wife just stick it on and said it was there but my current [and final ] wife likes it over and folded - she worked at a resort summers and thats how they wanted it presented to the guests , i used to be good at following orders but these days im really lax on that and only make sure the empty is gone and new is in place
