Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 So this morning I got sidetracked into looking on the WIRE at the Thread and found the following pictures that were posted. Split second images taken when the shot gun shells are ejected and smoke abounds. If that doesn't make you want to shoot CAS, you might be dead inside. Just sayin'. And
Subdeacon Joe Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Oh. I was thinking it was going to be About 10 years ago someone posted photos of firing shotgun loads that were made with Goex Fg. Lots of still burning powder exiting the barrels. And from the ejected hulls.

Hadn't found it yet, but stumbled upon another great shot.

After the Great Saloon Crash a few years ago (whole site, but that's a minor detail, and in reality I think it was about 8 years ago) I haven't been able to find the photos. I haven't tried looking for a few years. Maybe I'll try again.
Subdeacon Joe Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 It just struck me that it might have been a 10 gauge, not a 12.
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 Addicted to that split second pic of shells and smoke in mid-air.
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 Not as impressed with rifle; however, still smokin'.

The Handbook says that ammunition may not be carried in the mouth, ears, nostrils, "or any other bodily orifice." So.... who carried what and where to get that last clause added?
Sedalia Dave Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Fire N Fallback at the 2022 MS State night shoot. The red spots in the picture are still burning BP from the hull that was just ejected. Several of my CAS shirts have burn marks from shooting real BP.
Sedalia Dave Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 If you like to browse action shots check out Big Ol Brad's web page. His Daughter Tanya will take more than 10,000 pictures at a two day match. The best one's are posted for everyone's enjoyment.

Didn't figure in the cost of having to get more ammo to let me shoot twice a month. LOL Going through 9mm on 4 guns real quick. Shooting a couple hundred rounds a session adds up pretty quick. However, I am getting pretty good with my guns though. Just not sure how many months I can keep this up. I have my Sig P320 pretty much dialed in. My Sig P365 is still getting tweaked but we are getting closer My CZ P01 with its new optics after getting the slide milled to accept the optics wasn't too far off but still need another session at the range. And the last one is another CZ but a P10 that is pretty close to where I want it. So I am getting ready to order a 1,000 rounds and that should last me about 4 or 5 months to get them exactly where I want and then will have to review my membership. I haven't even taken any of my cowboy guns in yet but would like to add them to a session or 2 just to see how they are shooting now. I also have my long range rifle that I haven't even shot yet that needs to be sighted in. TM
