Warden Callaway Posted September 5 Share Posted September 5 Besides the insane heavy traffic, they are adding two more lanes statewide. They are rebuilding a lot of overpasses and bridges. Where they are not doing that, they are resurfacing or making repairs. Choke down the lanes and have 60mph speed limit but is generally ignored. It's a battle ground. They are rebuilding the tri-level interchange just south of the Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City. Three major US highways tangle up at this location. On the north side of the bridge, they are adding additional lanes. Also working on the overpass on that side. Detours, and lanes shut down. No way to avoid the mess. Never been to Missouri but I4 in Florida and I75 through Georgia have been under some form of construction ever since I was a kid. I call Georgia The State of Perpetual Road Contruction.
