Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 But Dave, if it's your favorite? Kinda dead in here, so here's me and Capt. Baylor again, sporting our fringe because the mornings been durn cool! But we're lucky we can shoot all year here. The only things I'm wearing that I bought new are the gloves and bandana. 8 Quote

Iron City Sage Posted March 31 Posted March 31 With the Alabama Bushwhackers. And out on a 3 day round up and cattle drive a few years back. I often wear traditional western gear for riding, because it worked then, and it works now. 5 1 Quote

He next time you see them, let them know that Modoc, Sierra Packer and Dustmaker Kid miss them. I did! Yesterday at Comancheria Days / Texas State match I got another pic of Mad Dog McCoy. He mentioned the names of the two ladies that made all his clothes from material he picked but I don't recall sorry. Here is La Sombra, Ruby Red Rider, and Dutch Van Horn sporting their sombreros (Sugarloaf?) at the banquet. I really should have taken more pics, there were lots of good outfits. Dutch is the club photographer and he puts them all on the Texican Rangers facebook page, for you facebook folks (I'm not yet but I guess I need to do it). I used to be able to view them all on FB anyway, but not today, hmm? 3 1 Quote
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Lookin' good Sgt. Eli. Chaps always add a lot to an outfit. Not chinks, I hate them . I was the costume judge at a small annual match in 2004 and I just had to pick Quintana for the working cowboy outfit. The chaps did it. 3 Quote

T-Square Posted May 20 Posted May 20 this was my first costume and my first match - not my favorite now, but was my favorite then - September 30, 2017 And the second picture is from May 17, 2025 - a little more sophisticated as an Old West Architect. 5 Quote
