Squib Kidd Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 (edited) Hello, I recently injured my hand shooting my 1873. I pushed hard on the lever and my tendon in my hand ripped. So, I'm switching to a Lightning in order to save my hand and continue shooting CAS. That means a caliber change. And I prefer to shoot all the same caliber. The 1873 rifle is basically flawless with (if I remember correctly) a gen 4 short stroke kit with the aluminum carrier. It's all blued. Very nice rifle functions well. Also has a worked, light trigger. I am also willing to trade for a pair of 38/357 SAA or Ruger NMV (SASS would be cool) in 4 5/8" or 3 1/2" barrels, with added cash from me where applicable.
