Federal Lawman, SASS #40004
Anyone have a schematic of the firing mechanism for the above revolver or is familiar with one. Thanks, FL

Abilene, SASS # 27489
Howdy FL, no I don't know anything about them. But I copied some info from one of David Chicoine's gunsmithing books. Not a schematic but a parts diagram and function explanation, might help. Note that the first part of page 242 is the end of the single-action section. Good luck. H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619
There is a parts schematic for them on Numrich. What's your trouble?
Federal Lawman, SASS #40004
Friends revolver which he obtained from a relative. When you pull the trigger, hammer falls, trigger does not reset. You have to pull hammer back, slightly which allows trigger reset. Also cannot be cocked for single action. Somebody had opened sideplate and it isn't sitting flush in frame. Some spring or something is keeping sideplate from laying flat. Before I open it, I want to get a "lay of the land" so I don't have parts flying out, etc. Schematic shows me parts and general location.
