Pat Riot
I must get between 25-50 Spam emails a day. This all started a year ago when a former employer’s system was hacked. After that it was a medical insurance hack and recently the National Public Data breech. Three and a half years ago “hacking” was getting too rampant in my opinion. It’s what happens when scum stay home under lockdown and have nothing better to do. I froze my credit with all three credit reporting agencies. I haven’t had a problem since. But, I do get lots of lovely spam emails by scammers now. Yahoo has closed my account at least 50 times. My Costco membership is constantly expiring yet every 3 days I win all kinds of neat prizes. Netflix has closed my account numerous times, but they are so nice. They allow me to continue watching. The Peacock channel is very angry with me. I am skeered. Some casino was nice enough to deposit $13,000 into my account with them. Apparently my manhood is question, but some really nice folks want to enhance it for me. Elon Musk is going to pay my electric bills from now on. McAfee software is reeeeally desperate to clean my computer. I am partners with a bunch of folks that need my money so we can make millions. I have a timeshare out there somewhere that I knew nothing about. It’s an amazing timeshare. It randomly pops up in various places all over the country. I’m afraid to schedule a vacation because the timeshare moves around so fast it may not be where I think it should be when I get there. Yep, since these scumbag hackers got into some accounts I am involved in I have made a bunch of new acquaintances and some very nice people that are just so giving and thoughtful. I am a lucky man. 2

Blackwater 53393
The Amazon account that I don’t have has been frozen more times than I can count. My email account has been suspended repeatedly, but I still get messages that it’s being suspended again along with all my other emails. I’ve repeatedly won cordless tool packages to the point that I no longer can afford the warehouse it takes to store ‘em all. My local Costco has awarded me a wonderful gift package for being a loyal customer, even though I have never been in the place! How could I be so lucky??

Sedalia Dave
Well sometimes they are not a scam. My manager grew up locally and owns a lot of acreage a couple towns over. Almost all of it was part of his family's farm. Over the years he has bought out the other family members and amassed several hundreds of acres that he farms in addition to holding a full time engineering job. Because the metroplex is getting too close, he has sold a lot of land to big home builders and using the proceeds to buy more farm land land a lot further away that is well isolated from urban encroachment. He sold a couple hundred acres of land that has state highway frontage to a big builder. The land will eventually have several hundred houses on it. Across the highway he has a smaller acreage that is perfect for being rezoned for commercial use. Already has all the necessary utilities with lots of highway frontage in an excellent location. Well he kept getting offers from a law firm for the plot of land but the offer was below market value for the amount of acreage, so he was round filing the letters After the third or fourth letter he called them to get them to either raise the price or go away. Turns out they did not want the entire lot but only a few acres. The firm represented a company that operates child day cares and they want just enough of the land to build a new day care to service the two huge housing developments going in across the road. The deal should close soon and he will be getting an obscene amount of money because it happens to be the only land available that is also in the perfect location.

Pat Riot
4 minutes ago, Matthew Duncan said: Plus if the Calling Parties phone number isn’t in my phone’s contact list their call goes straight to voice mail. I do that as well. Often the call just shows a number. Lately there’s been a few calls that will have a name, like; FINTECH PBX, SCH CULVER CITY, TECHNICAL SUPPO, or other things that make no sense, but they make you wonder what it could be. I also get calls from NRA call center contractors. I know it’s the NRA because I call back to ID the number then hang up. I did send the NRA an email and asked them to figure out a way to have any NRA representative calling appear the same on the caller ID. They wrote back and said that would not be possible blah, blah, blah. I wrote back and said “If some dirtbag in India can call me and make it appear to be a call from the FBI in Tennessee you all should be able to figure it out.” I never got a response. 1

Sedalia Dave
When I upgraded my NRA membership to life I started getting calls 3 or 4 times a week right a meal time. After a couple weeks I told the nice lady that if the NRA didn't stop calling me I was going to cut up my life membership card and send it back. I explained that they could email and mail all they wanted to but the phone calls had to STOP. Haven't received a call from the NRA in over 10 years. Still get a ton of email and snail mail but no more phone calls. TSRA is just a bad about calling so I used the number to a phone at an unmanned site at work. Only thing calling that phone will disturb are wasps and mosquitos. Edited August 28 by Sedalia Dave

Every time I send them money, especially if I send it to the NRA, the ILA and the PVF within a short time I get no calls. If I send money to the ILA and not the PVF & NRA branches of the NRA those two badger me. That’s why I am pretty sure the majority of my toll free calls received, the 800, 877, 866 prefixes, are NRA. They calm down after a couple of weeks. I do know that a few years ago they would call in the evening, when most folks are having dinner. I just kept my ringer off as idiots from work would also call thinking I loved my job so much that I wanted to spend time talking with them. I didn’t. I would find out about the calls later or in the morning. I truly do not miss work. That’s for sure.
