Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
These hot afternoons I hear a lot of kids shouting at each and balls bouncing, even in a downpour Nice that they are not inside staring at screens. 7 1
Blackwater 53393
It was 95 at 5:00 this afternoon! Was going to get the grandson to weed eat around the deck and stairs, but I wouldn’t ask him to anything that I wouldn’t, so we stayed in the house in the cool!!
Sawhorse Kid
Kids playing outside ........ No electronics. 😲 At this day in age, I believe this constitutes Heat Stroke. Someone should send the Ice Cream truck to check on their well being. 😜 1
Blackwater 53393
Got the young’n to help me straighten up in the gun/reloading room a little, today! There was a cluttered up shelf, right at eye level, that has much of my shotgun reloading components and a bunch of boxes of shells. That shelf stares me in the face every time I go to reload!! There were coffee cans full of components that hung off the front of the shelf and boxes of different shells just stacked up randomly with no hint of logic or organization. It just annoyed me to no end and the jumble of components was aggravating to deal with. We spent an hour sorting, identifying, organizing, and stacking boxes of shells and repackaging and labeling cans of components!! That kid is a lot of help!! Dantankerous
I noticed in my neighborhood kids began playing outdoors A LOT more than usual during the covid19 school shutdown. Kids on the HOA B-Ball court, kids riding bikes and scooters all over, kids just walking, running and chasing each other around the HOA commons area, kids out walking their dogs... This did not slow down when the covid restrictions ended as these kids seem to really enjoy their outdoor time. They are still going outdoors and still playing as if it's the thing to do. Maybe covid showed them outdoors can be and is to be enjoyed.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Then again, I saw three kids sitting on the steps next door looking at phones.
