Real or repro?

Recommended Posts

I saw somewhere on the internet that all badges with the number 246 are originals. All others are reproductions.

A badge with the same number is on a website about Railroad police badges.

Abraham Lincoln said it was 50 /50 chance whether it was right or wrong.  You KNOW you can trust Honest Abe, right?

A real reproduction

I prefer authentic reproduction. "Genuine antique finish" never hurts. I have a nice collection of antique(d) authentic reproductions of prison cell locks. I know they are genuine as they came from a gift shop!

They are also "original" which the dictionary defines as "first of its kind." Like in the grocery store when a product changes and is no longer the same as it used to be, it is now "original."

So even better, my locks are original antique(d) authentic reproductions.
