Blacksmith

Thanks, but anything over ten miles is too far.  I even get a co-driver to help me get to Flagstaff and back for my medical appointments up there.  It's about 160 miles round trip.

 

There was a time long ago, when I still had my equipment (and strength) when I could do this myself in about a half an hour.....not counting getting everything together and a fire going.

 

The only thing I have to complain about when getting old is all the things I used to be able to do without a thought.  Now all I have left of many things is the thought.

Not sure what you're wanting done, but you may want to call a ferrier/horse shoer in your area.  Most can do some blacksmithing, and they can usually come to your house to do it.

Tom, what are ye wanting done?  :huh:

 

I'm a long way off and it's too danged hot to fire up the forge anyway, but just wonderin'....

What do you want done? My wife and I will be in Quartzside beginning of Oct. And I will have my forge and anvil with me
