Lawdog Dago Dom Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Is Queen Creek too far for you? About 2.5 hours.
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted August 8, 2024 Author Posted August 8, 2024 Thanks, but anything over ten miles is too far. I even get a co-driver to help me get to Flagstaff and back for my medical appointments up there. It's about 160 miles round trip. There was a time long ago, when I still had my equipment (and strength) when I could do this myself in about a half an hour.....not counting getting everything together and a fire going. The only thing I have to complain about when getting old is all the things I used to be able to do without a thought. Now all I have left of many things is the thought.
Wild Eagle Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Not sure what you're wanting done, but you may want to call a ferrier/horse shoer in your area. Most can do some blacksmithing, and they can usually come to your house to do it.
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Tom, what are ye wanting done? I'm a long way off and it's too danged hot to fire up the forge anyway, but just wonderin'....
