Now there isn't room on the front for Joe and an ice cream cone or a sniffage victim, so I suggest the back of the mountain. I first saw it in 1961 when just the forehead was taking shape. Over the years I’ve visited it and slow progress is being made. Describe "finished " , No never rumor also is that over the years the rock has become less stable through erosion (Rushmore the repair cracks all the time ) and one blast in wrong area will become a quarry for landscape pebble. I haven’t talked to him in 2-3 years, but I see him walking up the road from time to time and he always looks stoned. He text me requesting I “like” his 20 some odd minute YouTube video of him playing a video game. I said no it sucks. He sent another asked again stating he hoped to make money on YouTube. I said no. He was angered and called me a racist and a homosexual. Not sure what the two have to do with me denying his request.
