How could any of you seriously prefer any of those namby-pamby TV dads over a guy with a nearly semi auto lever gun??  It's a Western boy's dream - Dad wins every fight, outshoots every bad guy, solves every crime, wins the heart of every good-looking woman in town; sure, he makes you do your chores and homework, but come on....a Dad who smokes a pipe while wearing a cardigan and a tie?  You might as well ask for Mr. Rogers!!!!

And on top of that, he played pro baseball AND basketball!!
