No jack on me, but I do have a 4 way lug wrench in the trunk so I don't have to use the light weight one that came with the car.

You routinely carry three sets of car keys, two knives and two flashlights? 3 knives if you count the Leatherman.

Either one of these.

Back when dirt was young and so was I, very early in my induction into the Lights & Siren Brigade, we ran combos -- combination hearse/ambulance -- had a flat.

The "light weight one that came with the car" had a stamped steel socket to fit the lugs.

It split wih the first twist and was instantly useless.

Lucky enough we were near station, another employee was a Good Ole Boy with a well stocked toolbox in his pickup truck.

Half inch drive socket and a breaker bar and I got the job done.

Comments omitted about not taking off my white uniform coat before starting the job.

Big Mouth, of course when I'm out of the house, Victorinox Tinker in my left front pocket, Lockblade knife and spare mag in left rear pocket, keys in right front pocket, and wallet in right rear. The Kershaw clips into the back of my right boot. Rechargeable flashlight, (plugged in) in both vehicles.1270076310_024-Copy.thumb.JPG.236efb24e5726f7f145af557590be17c.JPGImage previewKERSHAW OSO SWEET Spring Assisted SPEEDSAFE Knife 1830Rayovac Metal Rechargeable LED Flashlight with USB Charging Cable, 300 Lumens, 18650 Battery

Yep, carry extra car keys for primary vehicle as over the decades have had occasion where keys have been lost or stupidly locked in a car. 3rd set is to secondary vehicle and might as well have them if decide to use it or need to. Leatherman is primarily used as first pliers, second screwdriver, third saw or scissors - the knife is usable but not handy to me. The smaller knife is for use cutting boxes or around polite company, the larger for larger tasks and an option for self-defense. The two flashlights are because one is a primary powerful one and one is a backup that runs on common batteries as I've had them accidently get clicked on in my pocket and just be struck with no light and a dead battery.  All very doable with a good belt and cargo pants. The only things there that I haven't used regularly or at least fairly often are the Rat tourniquet, the pepper spray, and the Glock 43x.

Yeah, I'm still working and have to drive 80 miles per minimum when called. My be out 3 hours or 24. Out on bad roads in all kinds of weather, so learned to just have what I need on me or in car. Emergency med kit, extra clothing, extra batteries, charging cords, jumper cables, scoop shovel, snacks, water. Just at home all day don't have much at all. Will cut some out once retired, if I get that chance.

Nice, I have a nice 1911 I intend to switch to when/if I can retire and I go OWB instead of the current IWB.

Mostly my Ruger LCP in .380 in a "Sticky" holster. Occasionally a Kimber Micro 9 in a belt holster. If I'm wishin' I didn't have to go where I'm going, my Colt Officers model 45 in a belt holster.

Colt .38 Detective Special on my belt (with three six round speed loaders), a Colt Gov't Model .380 and a Star M-34 Firestar 9mm in the dash (both with even rounds in the gun and four spare seven round mag), a 1911 .45 in the pocket behind the passenger seat (with a seven round mag in the gun and 6 spare mags of 7 rounds each).

I have 3 folding knives of different sizes and a 4 1/2" lever lock switchblade, all in different pockets.

A flash light and an emergency flasher, a small first aid kit, a Mylar survival blanket, and a small tool kit in the trunk.

Life Alert GPS gizmo, a credit card wallet I got from Timu...handy gadget... and a small (50 ft) spool of paracord.  Sun glasses and a spare pair of my prescription glasses.

Two pair of clean socks and two pair of clean skivvies, and in the winter I throw an extra pair of boots in the trunk and a warm hat and a pair of gloves.

At least four 17 oz. bottles of water, each with a pack of Propel in it, a two day supply of my meds, several cafe size sugar packs, and a number of salt packs.

A note pad and a couple for pens, a pocket watch and a small compass.

All of this is in my car or on my person.  I almost always have at least $200.00 in my pocket.

The rest is on a "just in case" basis

Two hickory canes,  jacket suitable to the weather that gets rotated when the weather changes.

If I'm going to be very far from home I have a 1895 Winchester copy in .30-40 U.S. Krag with a box of25 rounds.

Most of this extraneous stuff goes in a canvas tote sack and a small back pack.

I probably won't ever need most of it, but If I need to leave my car I can get by.

It's getting to the time of year when I'm going to make a pound of pemmican and wrap it smll wax paper cubes the size of old fashioned caramel candy.

EDC?  NO WAY I could carry all that, but most of it's almost always in reach.

Para Ordinance 13-45, every day, all day long.

Spare 20 round magazines in each of the vehicles along with a Sure Fire flashlight and sufficient tools to handle small emergencies.

I don’t carry a knife anymore!  The last one I had was given to a guy who really didn’t want it in a way that I’m sure he won’t forget.

If I need more than 34 rounds of .45 acp to extricate myself from a bad situation, I figure that my survival will depend on The Good Lord…

In the back hollows of Kentucky, Blackwater is known as 'Kid Arsenal'.    😀

When Emergency folks get in trouble, they call him.

We have a network of people and places where those who are known can find what they need to survive.

Widder!!  When I run out of ordinance, I’ll head for your place!!

If we both run low, we’ll move on to TW’s!!

My every day carry is a small bottle of nitroglycerin pills.

I do have a spare key for my 1991 Toyota truck in my wallet.
The key/fob for the new 2023 is too big for the wallet..

4(ish) inch 1911 strong side OWB, 2 mags off side. Folding box (utility) knife in left front pocket, keys in front right pocket. Wallet in strong side back pocket, cell phone in other rear pocket on the rare occasion I skip wearing a cover vest.

Belt is steel-core Bullhide brand, holster and mag holder are Mitch Rosen gear.

I have used everything there on many occasions except the gun, pepper spray, and tourniquet and I hope that streak continues. Having been acquainted with victims of murder and violence I choose to take prudent steps to maintain my security and safety. 90% of those steps are awareness and avoidance of people and situations.

I try to avoid people most times anyway. But yes, if you keep your eyes open, and NOT on your phone, you can usually avoid problems. Same thing in traffic. Most of the youtube car crash videos I watch I can see what's coming.

I used to carry that li'l brown bottle.

And then, when I had my annual physical a few months after the divorce was final, the doc said "Ya know, Hardpan, you really don't need those anymore!"  And now, over twenty years Nitrostat free!
