John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
We shot Saturday about 50 miles from Butler and it was a scorcher!. Even the guns in our carts were hot to the touch. I’m just wondering how hot that metal roof was. Edited July 17 by John Barleycorn, SASS #76982 1

If Trump hadn't turned his head at precisely that instant...the shot would have been dead on. 1
bgavin
It was so hot the SS women couldn't holster their guns. Especially embarrassing when caught on camera. Having a set of boobs does not cause this failure. Being a DEI hire, does. [ edit ] Anybody notice how "DEI" is the replacement for the "Affirmative Action" buzzword? Sedalia Dave
Depends on which roof you are referring to. The roof inside the perimeter fence that was cool enough that two snipers dressed in all black tactical gear with all black rifles and equipment could easily hang out all day. OR The roof just 130 years away that was too hot for snipers dressed in light colored tactical gear with desert tan rifles and equipment to hang out for just a couple hours. OR Could it have been that the steeper pitch of the roof inside the perimeter reflected the solar energy away form those snipers while the flatter roof outside the perimeter directed all the solar energy directly onto those snipers. John Kloehr
I don't give a puck how hot the roof was. Rotate Feds or local PD as often as needed to hold the high ground. The girl from Dei Hard 2, Re-holstered would have been legitimately useful as one of the sentries. She might have ended up being the MVP that day.
