Dapper Dave
We had business up in The Valley, so I decided to drop in and take a look around. VERY nice ladies working there, very helpful, I'm a schmuck and can't remember their names...Nice selection of stuff to look over. I was just looking, of course, until I can find out what I want to do when matches start happening close enough to check out. I do have to say it's nice to have such a fine place "right up the street" as it were. Couldn't find a coat that would fit both my fat belly and have sleeves short enough - does anyone do tailoring on Scully and other makers? Just curious. Again, very nice place, extremely helpful and nice employees. Edited July 12 by Dapper Dave
DeaconKC
I would think any reasonably skilled seamstress or tailor could handle the sleeves for you.
Dapper Dave
I have never had a garment tailored before, was just curious. I asked the ladies if they knew someone and they said no, thought maybe someone local would have used someone for this before.
Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
If you buy trousers they will require the work of a seamstress too as they are too long with the expectation they will be shortened to fit the customer.

Dapper Dave
The point was to highlight the excellent visit, actually. Allow me to go back and edit.
DeaconKC
DD welcome to Thread Drift! It is not quite a religion around here, but it certainly is a large scale hobby! 😁
Rattlesnake Slim
Wild West Merc is an incredible supporter of SASS and a long time sponsor of End of Trail, the Wild Bunch Match and Costume Contest Sponsor, to be exact. Any time you're in there be sure to thank Melissa, the manager, for their support. 2
Dapper Dave
I actually did and I mentioned I heard about them here on this forum. That got a smile or two. It's also nice to have something like this "local" - ok, it's an hour drive, but out here, that's local.
