WHISKEY RAE 101318 AUS
Quote COME TO THE DARK SIDE ... WE HAVE COOKIES Howdy all, New to the SASS Wire, but have been shooting Cowboy for about 12years. I may be chasing a Unicorn down a Fox hole. 🦄 But is there a List A-Z of all The Categories & Abbreviations? eg: COWGIRL - CG / FRONTIER CARTRIDGE DUELIST - FCD and so on. I have started up and been running a Blackpowder Match "Quigleys Redemption" for 4years and was hoping there was a list with all this information. Currently Using Practiscore For Scoreing As Im Saving Up To Buy the SASS Match Management & Scoring Program. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Just trying to clear up any confusion and Learn More. Cheers From Down Under Whiskey Rae 101318
Sedalia Dave
Unfortunately there is not a comprehensive list of abbreviations. Each scoring program has their own.

Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
At the larger shoots SASS uses a category matrix. Can be anywhere from 50 to 150. This question comes up periodically and no one has been able to fully decipher the SASS Handbook categories.
WHISKEY RAE 101318 AUS
Thank you Larsen E. Pettifogger. Yes that makes so much sense. I suppose over here in Australia the Spread on Categories Used is Minimal. Thats Proably Why Then. Thanks for the information.

Idaho Gunslinger
My club uses Practiscore and this is the abbreviation list I have compiled so far. The ones in red we haven't had shoot and I just took a guess. The blank ones we also haven't been shot and I am not sure of the abbreviation. This is not even close to a complete list because you can add most of the age categories onto all of the rest of them. 1 B Buckaroo 2 Buckarette 3 JB Junior Boy 4 JG Junior Girl 5 CO Cowboy 6 CG Cowgirl 7 WR Wrangler 8 LW Lady Wrangler 9 FO Forty-Niner 10 LFO Lady Forty-Niner 11 SE Senior 12 LS Lady Senior 13 SS Silver Senior 14 LSS Lady Silver Senior 15 ES Elder Statesman 16 GD Grand Dame 17 CB Cattle Baron 18 Cattle Baroness 19 EP El Patron 20 LP La Patrona 21 ER El Rey 22 LR La Reina 23 DU Duelist 24 LD Lady Duelist 25 SD Senior Duelist 26 LSD Lady Senior Duelist 27 GU Gunfighter 28 LG Lady Gunfighter 29 SG Senior Gunfighter 30 LSG Lady Senior Gunfighter 31 CC Classic Cowboy 32 Classic Cowgirl 33 BW B-Western 34 LBW Lady B-Western 35 FC Frontier Cartridge 36 LFC Lady Frontier Cartridge 37 FCD FC Duelist 38 LFCD Lady FC Duelist 39 FCG FC Gunfighter 40 LFCG Lady FC Gunfighter 41 FM Frontiersman 42 FrontiersWoman

WHISKEY RAE 101318 AUS
Email Sent JP ☺️ Idaho Gunslinger. Thank you so much, that a great help. Yes once you add the age categories and they shooting styles it goes crazy. Thank you for your help. Hells Comin - not sure we are starter 😆, Probably Less Shooters vs population. We are starting to lose our legends and pioneers of our sport over here and not a lot of replacements coming, or kids loosing interest/getting a life.
