This One's For Pat Riot

Recommended Posts

I remember the "T".... it was a hot July afternoon many years ago.
The Brookline car was jam-packed, standing room only.
I wound up with my nose stuff in the armpit of a gigantic woman of possible Italian ancestry.
It was a long and slow ride.

I remember a prof describing those seafaring folk who painted eyes on their boats as "primitive" and "superstitious."

Ummmm ...

Ummmm ...

I don't know about primitive, but certainly superstitious.

If I had a boat, it would have eyes.

Coming in late at night in a fog, and maybe the boat would see that log floating out there in front of it. Cuz I sure wouldn't be able to.

And most T riders would gladly forgo googly eyes in exchange for trains that ran even occasionally on time.....

I bet they would like more security too!

Well, it's been too long for him to just be using the can.. on a bike ride, I'd wager.

Sorry Kris, I somehow missed this thread. My apologies and yes, when I saw the article I was rolling my eyes.

Passengers want an on-time train ride on clean, graffiti and dirtbag free trains. You can bet these knuckleheads wasted many hours and tax dollars on this silliness. I will bet the idiots in Senior Management came up with this while at the same time tightening the Maintenance budgets on special tools acquisitions and much needed overhauls.

Since a certain president was elected and appointed Booty Edge Edge (_|_) as Transportation Sec’y all kinds of dumbassery is afoot. Money wasted on feel good programs and ensuring racial equity is afldvanced, there’s no money for educated staff and equipment.

Okay, I’m done.
