Ummmm ... I don't know about primitive, but certainly superstitious. If I had a boat, it would have eyes. Sorry Kris, I somehow missed this thread. My apologies and yes, when I saw the article I was rolling my eyes. Passengers want an on-time train ride on clean, graffiti and dirtbag free trains. You can bet these knuckleheads wasted many hours and tax dollars on this silliness. I will bet the idiots in Senior Management came up with this while at the same time tightening the Maintenance budgets on special tools acquisitions and much needed overhauls. Since a certain president was elected and appointed Booty Edge Edge (_|_) as Transportation Sec’y all kinds of dumbassery is afoot. Money wasted on feel good programs and ensuring racial equity is afldvanced, there’s no money for educated staff and equipment. Okay, I’m done.
