Rube Burrows Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 Would also consider partial trades for Ruger Redhawk 45colt/45acp convertible or an older S&W 44spl.

I have just been on such a handgun kick lately that I thought I would offer this one up since it's just a safe queen for the most part.

Rube Burrows Posted August 16, 2024 Author Posted August 16, 2024 Plans went on without the sell of the rifle. That said, Lets open it up to possible trades. Mostly looking for revolver trades though plus cash either my way or possibly your way depending on deal. Some things I am interested. This is by no means a complete list. Original Colt BP revolvers such as 1860, 1851 etc. Must be shootable. Original Colt 1872 must be shootable Colt SAA Colt 1877 1860 Conversion pair in 44 or possibly 45 1872 Opentops in .44 or possibly 45 Im more selective on long guns but here are a couple that would be of interest. Again, not the only ones. Uberti Burgess in 45 Original Marlin 1888 in .38wcf Original 1873 Winchester shootable If interested in this beautiful rifle and have thoughts on a possible trade feel free to shoot me a message. Maybe we can work something out. There is nothing in the world wrong with this rifle. Just taking up room in the safe and I really don't shoot it. Comes with box and paperwork and is a TAKEDOWN version .
Ricochet Roy, SASS #71853 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 At $2,200.00 this rifle would easily sell on GunBroker!

I thought about going there with it but listed it here cause I thought Cowboys would enjoy it. Had one guy here say he wanted it but backed out at the last min. I may go there with it at some point. Or, I may just keep it.

I think they are awesome rifles. I make more of my stock covers for 86 rifles than any other rifle or shotgun of the 165 that I have developed. The very best to you Pard. Roy

Cholla Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 If a person wants to see what was available from Winchester, the 1895 catalog has two pages of sights, including a front sight with spirit level.
