Alpo
You are buying reproduction World War II field gear. It comes in your choice of light OD, dark OD, or khaki. I'm not necessarily looking for shotgun ammo pouches, but that pic showed all three colors.
Pat Riot
Since I live where it’s green now, thank god, I would go with green. Either green. I have had enough of desert colors to last me awhile.

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Dark green green reminds me of the webgear that I had, dark green.
Cactus Jack Calder
Here in NC everything stays green most of the year. Except Zoyza (sp?) grass. I intensely dislike that stuff. So dark OD Green it is. CJ
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L
Depends on why you are buying the reproduction item. Just for personal use or are you wanting it to replicate a certain time frame in the Military. The time frame would indicate which color would be more appropriate.
J-BAR #18287
I want to be able to spot that bag from a distance, after I forgot to pick it up after taking a break. So I would pick the tan one if taking it to a SASS match, but the dark green if using it while hunting in the fall, after everything turns dead brown. Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Dark OD. Just like the original stuff was that my buddies and I would buy from the Army Surplus Stores when we were kids back in the 50's and 60's. Speakin' of which... are there any surplus stores left?

I'd have to agree. My Dad brought a couple things back with him, and my best friend's Dad had a lot, all OD Green. As for surplus stores, there's one here in Tucson called Miller's Surplus. It's pretty good, though most of what they have is current stuff: Cammo Utilities in various colors and patterns, MOLLE gear. A lot of repro gear, mostly bags, backpacks, tool bags of canvas that rots after a couple years in the Arizona summers. Good selection of boots and a large Carhartt section.
