CFDA holsters in SASS?

Can I use CFDA holsters in SASS comp.?

The rule states:  "Holsters may not depart from the vertical by more than 30º when worn."  CFDA Holsters have 20 degree cant. so I assume they are legal. Just trying to save on Holster expense.

That's a significant part of the rule...depending on your shape, a holster with a 20 degree cant can easily "depart from the vertical by more than 30 degrees" once you put it on your belt with a gun in it.  Check the angle with a protractor while you're wearing the holster on a belt.

We have a shooter at one of our clubs who uses a CFDA holster on his right side, in every way it looks just like a SASS competition holster.  You'd never know the difference if it wasn't for the deflector.   He might have had the same person make his left-side holster.  It matches perfectly.
