Buckshot Bear Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 This is a homemade Steam Engine and Gold Stamper made by a friend of mine for me Trevor Woolan late of Victoria, Australia.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Why? just because it’s cool is ok, but is there a use for gold stamper?

With a little modification on the anvil to give it a trough, wouldn't it make a nice pepper mill for the dining table? VERY nice Buckshot!
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Very nice! Is the fuel straight gasoline or a gas/oil(2 stroke) mix?

Gracos Kid Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 I'm impressed with not only your friend's skill and talent, but also your collection of interesting steam engines...... Unfortunately, I have no talent in building such amazing things....I'm just good manual labor......
Crooked River Pete, SASS 43485 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 I had to look up " gold stamper" , interesting

Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 I agree to all of the positive comments above but have an issue: That guy talks funny.

Methylated Spirits (Denatured Alcohol with a bitterent(sp) added to it, but alco's will still mix it with orange juice and try and drink it) or shortened to 'metho' down here.

I think television is causing the homogenisation. (Note the Brit spelling, that wasn’t caused by tv.)
