FEDDLESTICKS

Should not that word have two I, instead of two E?

fIddlesticks

You know, if this dang website typed in Times New Roman instead of Ariel, there would be no confusion between a lowercase EL and an uppercase EYE.

I don't know. But on a computer screen, on the top icon bar in the reply window, where there is the "B" for bold, and the "" for italics, etc. about a third of the way to the right, there is a "font" selector.

That’d be a font to write in. I think he wants a font for reading. Some sites do that.

It depends on the phone.  I can do it on my old Motorola, but not on my Samsung A25.  I could also do it on my Samsung Galaxy.

Turn the phone 90° and you might get the usual selection bar.  BUT it's a pain in the butt doing it because it's a tiny space for the choices.  Once you have selected them you can turn the phone upright.

The OP was on my Samsung, I'm typing this in Georgia 18 point on my Motorola.

That's also why this is above the quotations, I couldn't manipulate it to get it in this font below them.  I also couldn't select black for the color.  Maybe if I had used a stylus.

The only astronomical phenomenon I've been able to witness has been the Solar Eclipse.
Missed the Auroras, haven't seen comets nor the Great Planetary Lineup.

I blamed it on Northern Ohio overcast, but apparently meteorological interference strikes everywhere!

I must agree with your astute observation.

Piffle, indeed!

No, actually I wanted a font to write in.

Joe, normally I have this

And if I turn the phone sideways I get this

So that gives me a couple more options, but not strike through, and not font choice.

Oh well.

Weather here today is WEIRD! This morning felt almost like thunder storm weather,  but there was no smell of coming rain.  When I checked the weather about an hour ago it was 75F and about 70% relative humidity, which is insanely high for here.   It should be under 40%.

Tomorrow is supposed to be pushing 100F.

That much heat and that much humidity ... if it does not roll up into some truly towering thunderheads I'll be surprised!

(On the other hand, if I know so much, why haven't I made that million dollars, eh?)

I could only see one (Jupiter?  Big and bright.), the rest were behind everything but the Eiffel Tower: trees, a high school building, Walmart, etc.  I just couldn't get situated right.

I don't expect to be around for the next one.  Then again..........:P

seems like every opportunity is lost to weather these days , it is very distressing particularly if you have to change your sleep patterns to try to see it ,

Nice and clear this morning,  but I was slugabed a little too long, lollygagging until half the day was gone, got up at two bells and a jingle of the Morning Watch ( from the Morning Watch until Night,  from the Morning Watch let Israel hope in the Lord.  Psalm 129).

Light enough to wash out the stars and planets, but a nice Moon Rise.
