Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Was it donated by "JF" ? Regardless, cowboys to the rescue again! It won't fit in my car but I'll be getting a truck soon. You're a good pard, Moe! And so is Yul Lose! But everybody already knew that. PMing you.

The images you see are the style/make for the cart being built right NOW! JF are the initials on the 'model' cart. This bad boy will be hot off the press when you get your truck. Seems like it is meant to be

Yul Lose Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 I’m doing glue ups now and will post pictures soon. The theme on this cart is Up From The Ashes with Tombstone movie pictures for the artwork in the door, front and chest panels. It is being built out of figured maple.
Yul Lose Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Sample of front and back view, with other subjects, not Tombstone. This one will be set up with 4 holsters on the door, 2 SxS slots and 2 rifle slots, double cup holder, Shotgun swab/brush holder, leather seats.
Wild Eagle Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Hell yea!! I'm in for a dozen. Support a good cause and it's about the only way that this old cowboy will ever be able to afford any of Mr. Lose's work. PM on the way.
Frederick Jackson Turner Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 This is fabulous workmanship, and for a great cause. Cheers to all! FJT
Tell Sackett SASS 18436 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 I’m not sure how a “virtual” auction works. Can I buy tickets with “virtual” money?

Moe T Vator Posted May 31, 2024 Author Posted May 31, 2024 Thank you to all the pards that have donated! make no mistake your selflessness is going to the best of causes. Not to mention its a YUL LOSE custom cart!
Moe T Vator Posted June 3, 2024 Author Posted June 3, 2024 Remember! No restriction on location for participation. Any cowboy, anywhere can claim this prize!
Yul Lose Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Here are a few pictures of the carcass of the From The Ashes gun cart. You can visualize a little better of what the finished cart will look like with the Tombstone movie signage in the rear door panel, front panels and then an oval pocket down on the chest with another picture. There’s another picture of the signs that I’m using. The Blazing Saddles cart is roughly the same size to give you an idea.
Yul Lose Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 I got the door and front panel dry fitted together today and I’ll glue them up tomorrow, I hope this gives you an idea of what it will look like when finished.
Captain Bill Burt Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 That's a mighty fine looking cart and this seems like a very worthy cause. I'm in.
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 BTT. C'mon y'all, let's do this thing. Less than two weeks until the drawing and I think they could use a lot more help. How many of you buy lotto tickets? Your chances of winning this are much higher! And anyway, this is a great cause, and you could use the positive karma!

Yul Lose Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 The leatherwork is being finished up and hopefully I’ll have the entire cart over to Double Diamonds by the end of the week for him to install his work and it’ll be ready to go to its new owner, the winner on July 4th.
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 I could never own a Yul gun cart. There is simply no room for it in my living room.

Yul Lose Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 The crest on the gun cart door will feature this leather panel with the Marshalls badge surrounded by brass tacks. The carriage front will feature the Justice Is Coming tooled leather panel surrounded by brass tacks.
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Hmm, makes me wonder if anyone has the alias Justice S. Cumming? Looking good, Yul!

That would be a good one. In all likelihood this is my last build and I’ve tried to make this one special, time to move on to other things. 88 or there abouts of these things and the fun of building them wears off pretty quick.

WOW the last one - that makes it even more special.
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 Wow, that is a lot of carts! 88 is a good number to stop, in radio lingo 88 means "love and kisses"
