Widder, SASS #59054 Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 As wear and tear would eventually render my 97's needing parts, I contacted Outlaw Gambler and placed an order. Great service and super quick delivery. Just wanted to share some good info among our pards..... about a pard. Thanks, Gambler. ..........Widder

Dacotua Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 And a thank you! Over the past two months, I've basically had to contact him to get parts for my 2001 IAC Norinco 97. After 20 years of service, parts were just worn or failed on it. (Ended up having to buy a firing pin, screws (for shell stops, carriage stop, magazine tube, and the one by the hammer) and right/left shell stops.) The screws on my gun were showing their age after 20 years of assembly/disassembly, and I had the misfortune of the firing pin breaking. One of the shell stops was worn enough that if you rapidly cycled the gun, it would eject a shell out of the bottom. I fitted a Winchester shell stop to work, however after talking to Outlaw Gambler, he found original norinco shell stops, so I elected to buy those. Well its all fixed now, I can load up 6 rounds in the tube, cycle it as fast as I can and no shells dump out the bottom. Hopefully now the shotgun will last another twenty years. The only thing I should do is buy new stock/pump wood for the gun (Although we tear them up by having shells in our hands). While we are on this, Does the Winchester Pump/Stock wood fit the Norinco's? Does anyone know?
