loaded clips

If you had several - 20 or more - clips and you had enough ammunition to load all of them, would you load all the clips?

If you did not load them all, how many would you keep loaded?

For my semiautomatic guns I have numerous magazines. Some hold as few as five rounds and some hold seventy-five.

All the magazines for all my guns are fully loaded!

If we are talking En-Blocks, sure, why not as long as they are kept somewhere dry and dust-free. Same with stripper clips.

If we are talking detachable magazines, then no...a few yes but not all of them for various reasons. For those who have shotguns with detachable magazines, I don't suggest preloading the magazines for prolonged storage as the crimped end of the shell will begin to oval and WILL NOT chamber when it needs to.

For Bigmouth, my EDC 1911, I have 6 magazines. Four are loaded at all times, 1 up the pipe, 1 in my pocket, 2 in a magazine pouch that can clip onto my belt, and 2 empty for range use because I'm too lazy to unload the others for that purpose.

My Star Firestar has 3, 1 in the pipe, 2 in a pouch. I don't carry my LCP often, but it's 2 magazines are loaded. Additionally, my 625 is loaded, and I have a speed loader pouch with 4 more loaded full moon clips in it.

There are also 3 loaded Taurus 85s stashed strategically in the house.

depends on what they are for , but yes , i do have about that many for my three gun 1911 that i keep fully loaded along with about that many for my DPMS carbine 556/223 , there are a bunch of 9mm glock mags for my sub 2000 and a handful for the S&W 59 i keep in a go bag , the mags are not damaged by keeping them loaded and or empty , the spring wear occurs with repeated loading and unloading , oh and i keep a handful of M1A mags loaded with 762/308 too ,

had to come back to add that my carry guns [2] are loaded and at least two mags for each are as well with them ,

Every mag and clip that I own is fully stoked. Only 29 in my 30 rounders though. I have a couple....
