Does anyone know the vendor name that supplies a brass magazine tube plug which has an O-ring instead of a slot for tightening? Thanks

Thanks Abilene. Getting old and memory going.

The ones Scarlett and I sell have don’t use an “O” ring.
I believe Smokestack uses an “O” ring on his.

Hi Ace,

Shotgun Boogie usually has those that are knurled brass with the o-ring but I don't see it on his website right now. I bought one from him at the last EOT. I believe they are the ones from Smokestack.

Why an O-ring? My screws don't have one. It's more of a hindrance when opening the magazine tube quickly. I have converted all my Ubertis and Mirokus to this screw. Pic is Miroku 1873

Scrub Oak Willie makes them with an "allen key" work great.

The o-ring is not a hindrance at all. It’s quite the opposite. It allows the cap to be run in with just your fingers it til it just touches, and it stays there. It doesn’t get too tight or loosen up with use.

That’s been my experience with it.
