Got my reservation for Black Gold confirmed along with a nice hug from Cat A Tonic!! They’ll have more information and details in a little while. First though, there’s a great match to be shot in Tennessee this weekend!! I had a great time today and I’m looking forward to more of the same in mid July!! Y’ALL GIT READY!!!

Tn Tombstone Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 After much discussion, fussin and gnashing of teeth we have decided to postpone the Lasagna throw down at Black Gold due to something about heat and humidity, and heavy food. I was not paying any attention by that point. I was thinking about what would go down really well..... Ice Cream came to mind. So starting on Friday lets break out the churns and turn out some Ice Cream. All flavors welcome, Friday afternoon crank your engines and let the churns run. If it is a hit on Friday maybe we can make some more on Saturday.

But to stay with the theme it will be a green Hatch chile lasagna. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Markie (second greatest pup next to Nicki) went in this morning for her fourth knee surgery! She blew out her left rear leg ACL. And Foxy is scheduled for her second Cataract surgery in three weeks. And you know how bad her last one went. So I may be there with my blind wife and gimpy puppy. Even you said you had scored SC peaches. Expect yours to be better (you need to make sure I get some of it, just saying). I may come on with mine, or maybe I will make a deep dish pie to put ice cream on (traditionally I made this for Ringer, Teresa, and Joe). Will see what I can scrounge up.

I ran into Andy’s Frozen Custard a couple of years back and they have a raspberry/chocolate that is killer!! If I decide to enter, I think I’ll try to make something like that!!
