Idaho Gunslinger Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 This almost happened today so the question came up. I don't remember which stage it was exactly but it doesn't really matter to the call. Let's say there were 5 plates and you just double tap sweep. The guy shot his first shot on T1, then jacked the 2nd round out. Shot rounds 3 and 4 on T2 and so on to finish the sweep. He chose not to reload the jacked round so we just called a miss and moved on. Had he reloaded and shot a target it would have been a P right? Assuming he didn't miss a target. Because he had already completed the sequence and couldn't go back.

I had a dud round today and after jacking it out, reloaded a round and kept the sequence intact. Both are options under "Shooter's Choice". Whether either is quicker than taking the miss is dependent on the shooter's skill at reloading a single round.
