I got a message that a tree was planted in Pam's memory in the Stanislaus National Forest on Bear Mountain (south of the Middle Fork of the Tuolumne River, west of Yosemite National Park) in the Rim Fire Recovery Area.

Good Morning to all my friends across the country and here on the wire. Thanks for the kind thoughts you’ve been sharing regarding my sweet Moonshine Millie. She hadn’t shot competitively the last couple years but was whole heartedly into the game. She would often remind me I was “borrowing “ her 66 carbine every time I loaded it up in the truck! The details of her death are still unbelievable to me and our family at this time. Full sized SUVS barreling through store fronts and slaughtering those inside isn’t supposed to happen! I have experienced a hurt that’s indescribable, and that after 38 years together I’ll miss her the rest of my days. Enough of the sadness today as I hope you hold your mom/ wife closely and they get to enjoy the love of their family near and far.
