Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 I'm looking for pictures of the Quonset hut offices at Cam Ranh Bay in 1968. I'd settle for photos of the Butler Building shops there or the two story chicken coops that served as barracks. I'd also like pics of the native foliage in the vicinity. I'm also looking for any pictures of the Marine Barracks at Seal beach form about 1974. I'd like them to show the Torii Gate out front. Another settlement would be pics of the "igloo" ammo bunkers in the A Area. I'm trying to make a some dioramas and my memory just doesn't suffice as a reliable source any more. Any help will be greatly appreciated. 4T
Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Forty, that was just a bit before my time, (I was in High School), but here's a couple websites I found that might help. https://excuseusforliving.com/2014/06/19/my-vietnam-1970-2/ https://www.vspa.com/crb-gates-and-posts.htm https://vp1pops.net/memories/vietnam/cam-ranh-bay/
