Dusty Chaps, SASS #5925 Posted March 30, 2024 Posted March 30, 2024 FS: once fired 45 Colt blank cases. Most are Starline and marked and headstamped as blanks. They are clean and mostly de-primed, but the cases are stained from the use of black powder. There are 3 bags of ~100 cases (and a few 5-in-1, and 4-in-1 rifles blank cases). Edit: I just found over 30 more. I'll add 10 more per bag. Total count over 330 now. $30 per bag or $80 for all. Shipping on your nickel. I like USPS Priority boxes. ============================== From Starline: The .45 Long Colt Blank has the same external dimensions as the standard .45 Colt but utilizes a .140" diameter flash hole to keep the primer from backing out with blanks. Note: This brass is used for the making of blanks. Not for use in reloading Live Ammunition. Blank ammo is used for many things, the most obvious being movies. Or mock gunfights for entertainment. An advantage of blanks is you can fire a gun into the air without worrying about falling bullets. Blanks can also be used for some training purposes (such as training bird dogs, etc.). Blank ammo can be fun as long as it is used safely. Just remember they are not toys.
