How many have tried to enlarge a printed photo?

I do the same.
I also take selfies when trying on new eyeglass frames so I can see how I look. I do this with hats too. 
Smart phones truly are handy devices.

Also works for menus in a dark restaurant.

Also handy for copying the business name and phone number off a store door or sign while walking past it.

Or a business advertized on the side of a van or truck.

Facetime with our grandson frequently ends in nausea or a completely black screen.  depending on how he handles the camera!

I take pictures of my prescription pills so I can read the number/letters so to properly identify them.

High school kid looked bored as I told him to DRAW a picture of the device showing what color wire went where before replacing the device.  That’s how my dad taught me and it saved by bacon several times.  High school kid waited until I was done explaining before to whipped out his cell phone to say, “Why not just take a picture of it?”

I do many of the same as all of you. 
 

Sometimes when I am in a gun store I will use my camera to magnify price tags on guns in the racks behind the counter. 
 

I do screenshots to save reload recipes from Hodgdon and Alliance. I also screenshot and save trajectory tables and general reloading info.
