Calamity Kris Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I'm not partial to the creator or brand in this ad, but it's worth watching.
Pat Riot Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I saw this ad / message at the theater last evening. For a commercial ad it was quite a moving message.
Blackwater 53393 Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Chevy puts one like that out on occasion! One last year about restoring a car belonging to a man’s late wife.
bgavin Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 In my circle of friends, I find the ones that deteriorate are those who are disconnected. They are isolated by health, hearing or vision. Imagine how isolated one is, if one cannot hear.

As our aging progresses I believe the worst possible result is Dementia or Alzheimers. There is no prevention, no cure, and it effects everyone differently. Imagine being awake and not knowing who you are, or who the people around you are?

There is quite the public example of it already.
Big Gus, SASS# 66666 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 If that don’t bring a tear to your eye ……..❤️
bgavin Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Indeed. My Mom got dementia and became the Head Conductor on the Crazy Train. She required 24x7 oversight, so we put her into a great care facility that was so nice, we would live there. She lasted 2 years to the month, before it ate her alive and she passed. They took really good care of her during that time. Alzheimers requires an autopsy to determine if actually Alzheimer's or if some other form of dementia. We did not have this done. The demented turn on their care givers, often with a huge impact on the care giver's health.
Eyesa Horg Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 With a blurry screen, I say "Thank you" for that.
