I was carrying it in my hand. I handed it to the lady at the bank and she almost dropped it. "Whoa, that's heavier than it looks. What's it worth?"

The standard gold bar weighs 27+ pounds! The lady at the bank would be surprised to have one handed to her.

She’d be amazed if you were able to hand her your imaginary gold bar and even more astounded if you didn’t need a doctor when you got through, if your 5.3 million dollar valuation is correct!  That much gold weighs between 185 and 190 lbs at the current rate of exchange.

Notice I also said I converted it to grains and then divided by 7000. There are 7000 grains in an avidapois pound.

I learned that selling black powder for The Flintlock in Hobby City

Your 9 lb. gold bar would measure approximately 3 5/8” X 2 5/16” X 1 3/4”, roughly 1/3 of a standard gold bar.

It is worth about $256.766.00 on today’s market.

If I had a 9 lb. bar of gold on my bathroom, (American), scale, how big would it be?

Big enough to alleviate a lot of boredom, should you choose….
