SASS New Vaqueros

There was a question recently, "Does anyone know when Ruger will build more vaqueros?"

Well, it looks like Ruger New Vaqueros are busting out all over.  While a lot of local gun stores ignore CAS firearms.  Ruger seems to be churning them out.

If your LGS won't order it for you, go to someplace like Bud's Gun Shop online.   Discounted prices, free shipping, and most important, "in stock".

A local dealer has at least three now, reasonable (sort of) pricing, and no one is buying.

There are a bunch on gunbroker now under $2000

Yeah, the SASS models sold in pairs. I should have bought a 45 Colt pair way back when they first came out.

Vaqueros, the non SASS models are now available for under $800 each and frequently found for $750 each.

Just an FYI.

Dealer cost on standard Vaqueros run about $700.

Dealer cost on the SASS set runs about $1500.

And while a $100/$500 markup sounds like a lot, that dealer has to put up with all of the ATF, Insurance Company, Bank & Credit Card BS on top of his/her rent and other OPEX!  Support CAS merchants and your local dealer!

Actually, on new guns, 5-8% is about it.

So if your dealer is marking up in the amount you're talking about, they are not competitive.

Not nice to tease the Canadians on this forum.

Our (mis)government, Prime Minister ordered a freeze on the LEGAL* transfer of handguns, on the way to banning civilian ownership.

Support your 2A rights and the NRA.

* Gangsters, thugs, drug dealers, thieves etc. are exempted.
