Pb Mark
Great to see this Marine was not "homeless". Too many homeless Vets out there. Take care of those folks who serve our country. Shelter and feed them and give them a hand up if you ever meet one who will accept your help.
Smuteye John SASS#24774
Bless that poor dispatcher's heart.
Presidio
Kinda caught her off guard. Guessing she couldn't get head wrapped around what the pilot was telling her. Poor thing.

So far outside of anything even hinted at in her training or experience that she fell back on routine to try to get it to make sense. And likely half expected it to be a prank call. 2

Poor thing. Typical bureaucrat that can only ask what’s on the screen in front of her.

And likely half expected it to be a prank call. That's what I think, too. She's probably got a form or checklist on the computer screen in front of her and just reverted back to gathering information and plugging it into the little boxes. The initial caller didn't do her any favors when asked for an ambulance right off the bat. She pulled up the medical emergency form and the thought of the call being about someone being injured seemed to be stuck in her head.
Badlands Bob #61228
She didn't have a list of questions for "ejected pilot". I would have loved to take that call. You mean you ejected out of your 80 million dollar stealth fighter jet and it flew off and left you? You are in sooo much trouble. You want me to call your lawyer first? 1
Rye Miles #13621
That dispatcher was holding back from freaking out! She probably thought it was a prank. She asked for the phone number at one point, don’t they have caller ID? Just curious.
Colorado Coffinmaker
Golly Gee Whiz. Matthew obviously had a whole 'nother checklist for (Crashed/Ejected Pilot Call) right at his elbow. But first must bad mouth the 911 employee. Smart.
