sassnetguy50
The National Motorcycle Museum closes permanently this evening. Mecum will auction everything starting Wednesday. Quality auction houses like Mecum are a great place to browse for high quality pictures of motorcycles regardless of your ability to buy. https://www.mecum.com/auctions/from-the-john-parham-estate-collection/ 1
Pat Riot
Too rich for my blood. It’s a shame the museum is closing.
Eyesa Horg
What a shame to lose a museum like that. Some rich sobs will be getting some incredible bikes and memorabilia.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
It was an amazing place. The board track racing display was really well done.
Eyesa Horg
Wish we had gotten there. On our way to one of Harley's birthday parties, we got a private tour of the AMA museum, but didn't have time enroute for both. Bummer

There was a H-D museum out east if here in Dewey, but it closed down a few years back. I'm not into motorcycles, but it's still a shame to lose that history 1
JP McLintock
Most of it has to do with the people that are into history and most motorcycles are getting old and disappearing, thats how i ended up with my ultra, the previous owner got old and couldn't ride anymore, and nobody was interested in buying the bike, i made a stupid low offer and he took it.
