Rye Miles #13621 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I’ve put this on before I think but it’s worth a second time. The guitar solo by Larry Carlton is awesome! 2 Quote

Once a week the neighbors would go over and the kids would take turns pumping the pedals. They eventually put electric air pumps on these pianos that eliminated the need for pumping the pedals. You still could if you wanted. I’ve seen people hook up a vacuum cleaner and reverse the air to blow air into the bellows. 2 Quote
Chantry Posted August 2 Posted August 2 If I posted this before, it's worth watching again. If I haven't posted this before, I should have. Eartha was 81 at the time and passed away about 6 months after this performance. 1 Quote

Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) Our high school marching band would warm up and get rid of any Parade Jitters by jamming: a circle, a spontaneous performance, no music, just ... doing what we loved. This was our favorite. Herb Alpert -- Work Song Edited August 11 by Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 2 Quote

My mother got it when he did a show at the German Club in Rockville, Ct. back in the early 60s! Just scribbled on a piece of note paper if I remember right. Haven't run across it in decades! 1 1 Quote
