When the button was pressed beside the Sheriff's table mounted podium and a certain recognizable air began playing, and his darlin' daughter made sure the assembled lawmen's attention would not waver, this is the music I had in mind.

My imagination doesn't run away with me.

It absolutely gallops! -- away from me! -- and I run after it, yelling, sprinting as fast as I can across the keyboard, trying desperately to keep up!

I woke up imagining Marnie responding to some perceived slight, challenged to blades at noon: as she is a girl, she likes pretty outfits and staging, and this is what I imagine she'd arrange for the music as she and her challenger step into the broad and sunlit arena, steel in hand and blood yet to be spilled:
