For you musicians out there Good Vibrations has 14 key changes and a tempo change.

This dude explains it pretty well…….

Django had 2 messed up fingers on his left hand but didn’t stop from being a great guitar player.

Grandson #2 (Peter Sumner cello on YouTube) receives his MFA from Berklee College of Music in a couple of weeks.  Also, you can look up most anybody's senior concert @ Berklee & you'll find him playing in it.  Not too proud.

That’s awesome MizPete! Is he pursuing a music career?

I don't think he has a choice.

We all have a choice, I’m not trying to be discouraging but music is a difficult career. I was a musician (drummer)  for over 40 years, I also had a small music store and taught drums privately I got into piano tuning and repair about 35 years ago. Both my sons are musicians, one is in Nashville as a guitarist and songwriter but it was a long hard journey for him. My other son is still gigging around town here in Cleveland. He’s a guitarist and drummer. I wish your son all the luck in the world! 😎

She needs a second fiddler for Pachelbel Canon, one doesn't do it justice!

Rye, he's my grandson.  When I say I don't think he has a choice, it's because the music is in his head & it has to go somewhere.  You are NOT wrong when you say music makes a hard row to hoe.  But this kid has some sense & I have to trust his judgement.  While I am soooooooooo impressed he made it into Berklee (about a 30% acceptance rate) I do wish he had a more traditional (& practical) education.  Like his mama: an audio electrician who has been the Grand Poo-Bah at Olympic Broadcasting - her degree is in economics.  BUT, like I said, he has the music in him and it tells him where to go.

I hear ya, I was the same way. My sons are both like that too. I never pushed them into music nor did I discourage them. They just followed their music. 😎

If the shade of Sarah Lynne McKenna were to whisper into Marnie's ear, as she slept ...

... if Marnie were to sew scarlet layers of ruffles on a lobstertail skirt, fasten her hair severely back ...

... if she were to perform at the high school talent show ...

... I imagine this is that to which she would dance!.
