I mentioned a couple of guys that I went to school with in another thread last night and the fact that they were in the original Charlie Daniels Band.

Here’s a bit of their work…

Well, I can honestly admit that I have never heard that song before!

Levity, tragedy and subtility all in a song.

And now I can smell bananas.

Today is Schoolmarm’s birthday. We (me and the guys in my band) always dedicated this song to her!

This is the original!

Typical Rick Estrin songwriting, funny songs with a bit too much truth and backed by a great band.

Continuing along with my "Harmonica" music....

I saw them in 1978 at a concert in Tampa called Tampa Jam. The harmonica in the song is played by the lead guitar/singer's grandfather who wrote the song. I'd never heard of them before the concert and thought it was strange to see a little old Native American man playing the harmonica lead in to a hard rock song.

The concert featured Black Oak Arkansas, Blackfoot, Atlanta Rhythm Section and others. Blackfoot was awesome, I bought this album shortly thereafter.

Another good "harmonica" song.
