@Blackwater 53393 I presume you've checked out the new songs from Judas Priest?

I was never a big JP fan.  I will have to do a search sometime soon.

Pinetop started out as a guitar player until a knife fight with a chorus girl forced him to switch to the piano.  He died a few months before his 98th birthday still playing on a regular basis with more performances scheduled.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinetop_Perkins

This thread calls for AC/DC Thunderstruck to wake it up!

But I offer this instead:

I was thinking about a lost friend today... He liked Thunderstruck. This song reminds me of him.

It was a long time ago, but somehow being home today on a rainy day made me remember home more. He was a good guy. Vietnam. This was way back when I became a citizen and signed up for the draft. He got called, I did not.

I think part of the memories came back from seeing a shopper at the local gun store, Vietnam Vet hat and t-shirt. I wanted to walk by and thank him for his service. I didn't and think I should have.

Anyway, let's keep celebrating awesome music. All of these songs mean something to someone.
