Emmalee (Desert Scorpion) was named after her great grandmother "Emma" and her grandmother (my mom) Bonnie "Lee". So, an odd spelling, but to honor two very fine, strong women. We opened our gunshop in 2001 - when Emmalee was one year old. She started shooting CAS at five years old - moved into the adult Cowgirl category when she was eight (because in her words, she would rather lose against grown ups than win a kids category all by herself). She was my right hand and head cheerleader at Eldorado - while I was match director. Placed 7th in category at End of Trail. She now runs the shop (alongside her grandmother) Emmalee has done a fine job living up to her name. The least I can do is create some cool t shirts for her and our customers.
