Forty Rod SASS 3935
How about they must be registered to post their garbage on my computer? That wouldn't make me a cent but I'd happily pay to make them do that.
Cypress Sun
They could care less if you're "registered". All they want is your E-mail address so that they can sell it AND bombard you with endless spam. 4

I know that, but we still get people posting things on this wire that have that...or something much like it...connected to the things they post. watab kid
yes , much like the ploy used when cable came abut trying to hook you with the no commercials BS all they did was up their profits charging the advertisers to show the commercials and then charging us to watch them ,

Some of the YouTube videos were viewable at the time they were linked to here. Then Karens flag the video as adults only and YouTube starts requiring you to log in for that specific video. Pat Riot
Their Game, Their Rules. Don’t participate. Simple. And the video would’ve probably had something in it that would have ticked you off and raised your BP. That’s how I look at it. They did you a favor.
Henry T Harrison
I made the mistake of looking up oil change places on google. Ten minutes later my internet feed was flooded with oil change ads
bgavin
Yep. This is why VPNs are so popular... they obfuscate your true IP address to avoid trackers. The best VPN are those outside the US boundaries, and legal jurisdictions. Your Google request is transmitted to a VPN in China which acts as your proxy. It makes the request to Google, then sends the results back to you. VPNs are favorite tools of software pirates and pornographers, because they (mostly) hide your IP address. Gov't agencies can, and will, subpoena VPN companies located in areas with mutual agreements with the U.S. You are the cash cow with endless buckets of money for the marketeers to tap into. Everywhere you go on the internet, you are extensively tracked, identified and marketed.
