Jackson Haller
Hi all! Title says it all; have a handle on where to get a nice 3 click in 38-40, but don't like the retractable firing pin stuff and would want to change to 4 click. Also, how hard is that to do? Abilene, SASS # 27489
Taylors has the parts, much better price than VTI. You need the hammer and trigger. Go to the Cattleman parts list and order: A0502002 Cattleman Hammer No Safety U0400010 Cattleman Trigger You might want to call them and make sure that's the correct parts. They used to have a separate listing of those parts, but now I can only find them by looking at the entire Cattleman parts list.
Old Man Graybeard
If it happens to be short stroked...Taylors or VTI neither one has those parts to convert to 4 click

JackSlade
If the new hammer doesn't come with one, you might need another firing pin as well. And also MEASURE the new firing pin, you don't want it to puncture primers. Taller than a dime, but not taller than a penny.
