Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted December 26, 2024 Author Posted December 26, 2024 (edited) *A correction: I missed adding the minus sign earlier, but I didn't think anyone would notice south of the border. Edited December 27, 2024 by Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 2 Quote
Alpo Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 5 degrees Celsius is 41° fahrenheit. Y'all get that much snow when it's only 41? Hell it gets down below 41 here. Is there, maybe, supposed to be a minus sign in front of that 5? That would be 23 F. I could see there be snow on the ground at 23°. Not here, but up there where snow is at. 4 Quote

Way back when I could still run, I played indoor soccer on a team called the “Mooseheads”!! Our postgame celebration revolved around a simple criteria, a loss meant only two bottles and a win was help yourself! Our team sponsor was manager for a multi state distribution company! Certainly provided solid motivation for our on field efforts! Regards Gateway Kid 1 6 Quote

It’s a noisy, vibrant city full of very liberal minded people. I couldn’t wait to leave. 1 Quote

You now get free needles and a place to shoot up, with medical staff standing by, in case you O.D.. You can $**t on the street and all sort of neat things. They had a foretaste of your fires south of BC, and the Banff/Jasper National Park wildfires that took out a portion of the City of Jasper, but apparently no one took note or thought it couldn't happen there. Something about forest debris left to become tinder, if I recall. It was discovered alleged, that a few of the fires were "Caused by humans." and there was some interesting drone videos on line for a while. 3 1 Quote

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 No, we are reminded, (here in Ottawa) not to put our garbage, recycle or yard waste/compost type bins on the edge of the road or sidewalk in winter. But since this is apparently Toronto, (the self described Centre of the Universe), I can see why Injun Ryder might confuse that place with the rest of Canada 2 1 Quote
