Dusty Morningwood
This is for you Rarities and B Sides folks. An excellent example of Kenny Howell's early cartridge conversion of a Uberti 1858 chambered in .45 Long Colt. Mr. Howell has confirmed that "5816 was built in 11 of 2002 and went to Cooks Sportland" in Venice, FL. It is in very good, lightly used condition. Chambers are dusty and bore bright and sharp. The faux ivory grips, just like The Dude's rug, really pulls it together. There were some minor rust spots on exterior that I took care of during photography. These do not come up very often. Back when Howell was building them, he charged about what I am asking and you provided the parent revolvers. This is about as close a copy of a Remington factory conversion as you will find and finding another at any price will be hard. $1000 + Shipping to your FFL. Dusty Morningwood
Nope. Many otf the original factory conversions did not have one. Chambers lined up as to not let rounds drop out, unless you were cocking pointing at the sky!

Dantankerous
"...the Dude's rug... really pulls it together." Hahahahaha! Great reference! Love it. Nice gun too. A pair would be dangerous. Edited July 3 by Dantankerous

But would still go well with a Cimarron New Model Army cartridge conversion in .45 LC.
