Sasparilla Groz
I ran across one in a local gun shop. I have heard a lot of talk about the SKB but not sure which model is best for our sport. This one looks nice. Single trigger. Stainless? (not blued receiver). I currently shoot a Baikal and like it. Is the SKB a better shotgun? What are your thoughts? Jack Spade
The Royal is not one that is suited for our sport and Fast Eddie won't even work on one. You want an SKB 100 or 200.

Then Go For It !!! If it's stock it will need to be "Cowboyed Up" But there is no Better SxS for this sport than a properly tuned SKB
Sasparilla Groz
Silver Sam - that one is Sweet! However, the one I am looking at has less engraving and "SKB ROYAL" stamped on the side of the receiver. Trigger guard and release are blued. watab kid
i think its all about whether it has ejectors or extractors - we cant use ejectors in our sport
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
The ejection mechanisms can be removed pretty easily. Most SKBs are three or more times as valuable and well built as the best Baikal. Post a picture of what the shop is trying to sell you! No SKB is made with a stainless steel receiver, AFAIK. Some are "coin nickle" plated. good luck, GJ
